Revitalization of a long-time Preserved Compressor

A high-pressure compressor for underground storage of natural gas in France has not been in operation for 10 years and now the customer wanted a quick start-up.

LMF was quick at site for an initial inspection and full diagnosis. While the compressor was under Nitrogen purge, overall maintenance was required.

Within only six weeks LMF performed a complete maintenance job including state-of-the-art upgrades and modernizations.

Cold commissioning was finalized and the compressor was ready to start.
